Hi, just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy stopping by your website every few months, it’s way cool and lotsa fun, particularly all the mojave desert stuff… I’m fascinated with the same kind of funky old shit out in the desert that you are.

So, just saw an article in the NY Times I think you’d like to check out, it made me finally drop you a note!

I’m a long time burner, from Austin, TX, though I’ve missed the last couple of TTITD’s. We have a regional burn down here, Burning Flipside, it’s the largest of the regionals in the US, ya oughta come down and check it out! Thursday through Monday of every Memorial Day weekend.

It was pure serendipity that I stumbled across your wonderful Blog. I was searching for images of Saline Valley and found the link to the article you wrote about your visit there. I camped there several years ago, as well as many of the other places you have written about. After I read those articles, I started on your hilarious Vegas adventures, etc., and the next thing I knew, I had read all your Blog entries back to May, 2011. It was like reading a picaresque novel !
You are such an incredibly talented writer. Keep up the good work.

I read you say that you sold on ebay, but I did not see a link to your ebay page. I am probably being blind again not seeing it, but I bet I would would love to bid on some of your items, and other people probably do too. If you are in to it and you sell enough to make it worth it you might consider putting your ebay link on your menu bar.

Hello. I enjoyed reading your pages and when I hit it big on the slot machines next week, I will surely hire you for the day as a nude model/guide. Now, about that secret place near Valley of Fire..how much of a tip would it take for you to divulge the precise location? I would like to try to visit a few of your weird desert sites, so that I don’t end up full of regret like MattGatt.

I think ur website of nevadas is cool im up in reno, i hope u had fun at burning man and so waiting for this update. i browsed onto ur saline hot springs that sounds sweet. if ur in reno a still want to learn a stick shift hit me up !
